Copper Creek Gold Finished Season's Drilling at Bonsai
Drilling on Copper Creek Gold Corp.'s Bonsai gold-silver property located in northwestern British Columbia has ended for the season. It has completed 944 metres of BTW-diameter diamond drilling in four holes. The holes were designed to confirm and to test the downdip extension of hole BZ03-08. This hole was drilled in 2003 by Heritage Explorations Inc. and returned 64 metres of 0.38 gram per tonne gold and 27.0 grams per tonne silver from 90 to 154 m.
Drill core from Copper Creek’s holes have been logged, split and sent to ALS Group of North Vancouver, B.C., for assay. Sulphide mineralization was encountered in all four of the drill holes. The company will release assay results in a timely manner when received and interpreted. Pursuant to an agreement dated Nov. 5, 2009, Copper Creek may earn up toa 70-per-cent interest in the Bonsai property from Teuton Resources Ltd. Copper Creek must incur exploration expenditures of $3-million by Dec. 31, 2014, to earn a 60-per-cent interest in the property and an additional $2-million prior to Dec. 31, 2015, to earn an additional 10-per-cent interest. To date, Copper Creek has spent approximately $1.65-million on exploration at Bonsai. The foregoing geological disclosure has been reviewed and verified by Linda Erdman, PGeo, a qualified person for the purpose of National Instrument 43-101, standards of disclosure for mineral projects.
