Alamos Gold Inc. (AGI.TO)

Alamos Gold Inc. is engaged in the acquisition, exploration, development and extraction of precious metals in Mexico. The Company owns and operates the Mulatos mine (the Mine). In addition, the Company holds the mineral rights to the Salamandra group of concessions in the State of Sonora, Mexico, which includes several satellite gold occurrences. The Company owns 100% of the 30,325-hectare Salamandra group of concessions located in the state of Sonora in northwest Mexico. In January 2010, the Company announced that it has completed the acquisition of the Agi Dagi and Kirazli gold projects, through the purchase of certain Turkish subsidiaries held by Fronteer Development Group Inc. and Teck Resources Limited. The 14,905-hectare Agi Dagi and Kirazli gold projects contain mineral resources and several prospective exploration targets.
